Sanction – The AMF Enforcement Committee is seeking to impose a €1m fine on Auris Gestion, along with €200,000 on its chairman Marc de Saint Denis and €300,000 on chief executive officer Sébastien Grasset. These proposed penalties appear unusually steep given the number of breaches alleged against the asset manager, which oversees around €6bn in assets – especially when compared with several recent decisions by the Sanctions Commission.
